7 Unique Staging Tips for Your New Bathroom

18 Oct 2016 by In Blog

A beautiful modern bathroom.
We do a lot of work with remodeling homes, and in the midst of all of this Plymouth, MN, remodeling, we have stumbled across some excellent tips to help make your space look incredible. Many of them are simple, and all of them are extremely effective. Staging your bathroom to look like a model home is as easy as following these 7 steps.

1. Clear the Clutter

This is the number one staging tip we can give for just about any space. Remodeling is a great time to look through your stuff and determine what is still useful and beautiful, and what should find another home. Get rid of anything you don’t use.

2. Shine the Glass

All your shiny surfaces should be spic and span. Mirrors, windows, shower surrounds, and metal hardware should all be well shined. This doesn’t take a lot of time, and the best products are the simplest.

3. Match the Linens

Nothing de-classes a space like unmatched towels. Throw out the ratted beach towels, and invest in some nice fluffy towels that all match. It is a small price to pay for a well-staged space.

4. Hide the Unmentionables

Your garbage and your laundry should all be kept out of sight. Garbage cans can fit under the sink, and laundry baskets should have a cover on them.

5. Add Some Plants

There is nothing like live plants to draw the eye in a good way to lush and beautiful foliage. This is also a fun way to add a pop of color in the room. Live plants are best, but faux ones can work as well.

6. Increase the Light

The more light you let into this space the bigger and more luxurious it will look and feel. Open the windows, put in more light bulbs, and lighten the colors in the room to create more reflection of light.

7. Invest in Good Hardware

This is another very simple change that will greatly enhance the way your space looks and feels.
